About us

We’re a small, close-knit family business with a big purpose – creating beautiful, personalised wooden caskets that offer comfort, meaning, and a place of peace for loved ones who’ve passed.

Before this, we were kitchen and bathroom fitters. It was work we loved and took great pride in – until everything changed. After suffering multiple heart attacks, Gerard, our dad and husband, was forced to step away from the trade he had spent years building. It was a difficult and uncertain time. Losing his health meant losing everything he’d worked so hard for.

In his recovery, Gerard turned to woodwork – something he’d always enjoyed – as a way to focus, heal, and take back control. What started as a quiet hobby soon became something more. He began making custom boxes and caskets for friends and family, carefully tailoring each one to reflect the life it honoured. The response was incredible. Word began to spread, and soon, he was getting requests from people he’d never met. It was then the idea truly took shape: to create meaningful, personal caskets that celebrates life, not just mourn its loss.

In April 2024, our business was officially born.

The response was overwhelming. Orders started coming in quickly, and it became clear that Gerard couldn’t manage it alone. He turned to Michelle and Katie for help – and just like that, the business became a full family effort. As the days went by, more and more orders came flying in. What had started as one man’s healing journey became a team effort, with each of us playing a key role in helping the business grow and keeping up with the demand. Together, we began building something truly special – not just a business, but a shared purpose.

Now, every order is so much more than a product – it’s a privilege. For us, this work has become deeply personal. We feel honoured that families trust us to create something so meaningful for their loved ones. Every casket that leaves our workshop is built, painted, and personalised by hand – and with heart.

We believe that caskets shouldn’t feel cold or dreary. They should be a celebration of life – of love, memory, and legacy. That’s why we offer a wide range of sizes, colours, and designs. We want each customer to have the freedom to personalise their casket with words, images, verses, or artwork that truly reflect the person – or pet – they’re remembering.

As we continued creating meaningful tributes, we found more families reaching out – not just for caskets, but for memory boxes and toy boxes too. With extra hands now on the team and the workshop running full steam, we were finally in a position to say yes. Expanding into these new pieces felt like a natural next step – after all, remembering someone doesn’t always come in one form. Memory boxes allow people to keep hold of treasured belongings, letters, photos, and keepsakes, while toy boxes offer something beautiful, practical, and long-lasting for a growing family.

For us, these pieces still hold the same heart – they’re about love, legacy, and creating something that will be part of someone’s home for years to come. It’s been an exciting new path, and we’re so grateful to be able to grow in a way that continues to honour our purpose.

We’ve come a long way from where we started, but our values haven’t changed: craftsmanship, compassion, and care in everything we do. We’re proud to be the ones creating your orders – one family, side by side, turning your thoughts, ideas, wants and needs into something truly special.

Thank you for being a part of our journey. We hope the casket we make for you brings comfort, meaning, and love at a time it’s needed most.

Hi, I’m Michelle – Artwork & Finishing Touches

I play a vital role in the final stage of every casket we create. I’m the one who carefully adds the personalised artwork, text, and photos — bringing your ideas, memories, and wishes to life just as you imagined. With a keen eye for detail and a deep respect for the significance of each piece, I ensure every tribute is finished with care, beauty, and meaning.

Every piece I work on holds a story, and I feel honoured to help tell it in a way that truly reflects your love.

  • Gerard

    Hi, I’m Gerard – Maker & Builder

I’m responsible for crafting each casket from the very beginning. When the wood arrives, I cut it to the exact measurements needed for each style we offer. The parts are then prepared and stored, waiting for your order. Once painted, I personally assemble every casket by hand, building it with care and precision.

This work gave me purpose again, and I pour my heart into every build because I know just how important it is.

  • Katie

    Hi, I’m Katie – Painting

Once the wood has been expertly cut, it’s passed on to me. I bring each casket to life with the colour you’ve chosen. Using precision spray techniques and paint guns, I make sure each one is coated smoothly and evenly for a flawless, high-quality finish. I take great pride in delivering a clean, polished result every time.

Knowing that these pieces will hold such special meaning pushes me to treat every one as if it were for someone I love myself.

Hi, I’m Dudley – Team Mascot & Moral Support

I’m the four-legged member of the family and the glue that holds the team together. As the official mascot and moral booster, I spend my days alongside Gerard, keeping a close eye on the workshop and making sure every casket is built just right. Whether it’s a quick cuddle, a wag of the tail, or simply being there, I do my part to keep spirits high and the team motivated.

Every box gets a final look of approval from me – with a little extra love and care added to every single one.
